Saturday, January 28, 2012 – Faith. Academics. Service. – Our Parish
Catholic Schools give the family involved a deep connection to the faith community. This connection is celebrated at Masses this weekend at St. Michael’s, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, St. Jude’s (Budd Lake), St. Jude’s (Hopatcong), Our Lady of the Mountain, St. Luke’s, St. Mark’s, Star of the Sea and Our Lady of the Lake.

Opening of Catholic Schools Week, St. Michael’s Church. All families are encouraged to attend. We ask that the children wear their uniforms to show their identity to SMS. Children will sit with their classes.
Manna Drive begins – distribution after weekend masses.

Friday, February 3, 2012 - Faith. Academics. Service. – Our School Spirit
School Spirit Day serves as a fitting conclusion to Catholic Schools Week. It is a special day to honor those who devote their lives to educating students in an atmosphere of academic excellence and Catholic faith. Students may wear spirit wear, gym uniforms, SMS basketball/soccer uniforms – clothing MUST have St. Michael on it. The children may also wear their SMS participation buttons on either their clothes or on the lanyard.
