Grading Policy:   Tests – 50%

                            Quizzes – 30%

                            Homework – 20%

 

The cumulative grade at the end of this year will consist of 20% from each quarter, 10% from the midterm, and 10% from the final exam.

 

Homework Policy:  Every child begins the quarter with a homework grade of 100%.  For each missing assignment, 3 points will be deducted from the homework grade.

 

Supplies:  Please help your children to do their best by checking to see that they come to school each day prepared with the appropriate supplies:   pens, sharpened pencils, and highlighters.

 

Tests and Quizzes:  All tests and quizzes should be signed and returned to class the following day.

 

Absences:  All missed work should be made up as soon as possible.  A note is required in homeroom after an absence.

 

Contact Information:  If you have any concerns, please contact me by sending a note to class with your child.  If a conference needs to be arranged, please let me know which days are convenient for you.
